It’s really fascinating that during the electron microscope view of printer paper, the little holes that were part of original tree structure were still visible! I didn’t even know that they add titanium dioxide or chalk to widen it to fill in the cracks. It makes sense now why printer papers are not as textured as other kinds of paper.
