National Nanotechnology Day

October 9, 2017 is National Nanotechnology Day. This date, 10/9, pays homage to the nanometer scale, 10-9 meters. The National Nanotechnology Coordinating Office (NNCO) is spearheading the celebration, which includes a variety of community-led events and activities to raise awareness of the significance and importance of nanotechnology. Visit the NNCO website to learn about nano themed events occurring across the country.

Ask the RTNN Expert Your Nano Questions!

To honor the nanometer, RTNN invites you to participate in “Small Talk: a NanoMaker Live Event” on October 10th. Experts will answer your questions on nano-fabrication and -characterization. We will stream these hour-long sessions online at 8:30 am and 3:30 pm (EDT). Prior to the event, submit questions here. During the live sessions, email questions to rtnanonetwork@ncsu.edu or post questions via Facebook and Twitter (@RTNNsocial).

Links to the live sessions are below. You will be able to join the events via WebEx on October 10. You can pre-register now to have details of the events sent to you. Registration is not required. Be sure to test your setup before Small Talk!
